Product Description

The CIX007 Wired I/O Extender is a versatile and reliable module designed to expand I/O capacity in industrial control systems. With 32 configurable analog and digital channels, the CIX007 enables seamless connectivity between field devices, sensors, and controllers. Supporting Modbus RTU over RS232/RS485, it integrates easily with PLCs, RTUs, and SCADA systems from major vendors.

Engineered for scalability, the CIX007 can operate as a standalone I/O expansion device or work alongside the CIX700 Protocol Converter, where up to seven CIX007 units can be added for a total of 240 I/O points. This flexibility makes it suitable for both small installations and large-scale industrial automation projects.

One of the key advantages of the CIX007 is its cost-effectiveness. While wireless industrial-grade modems can represent a significant investment, the CIX007 provides a much more affordable way to expand I/O capacity without compromising reliability or performance. By leveraging wired Modbus RTU connectivity, it offers a practical solution for applications where scalability, dependability, and budget efficiency are equally important.

The CIX007 is ideal for industries such as Water/Wastewater, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Mining, Food & Beverage, and Agriculture, where reliable monitoring and control of pumps, valves, motors, alarms, and sensors is critical. Its configurable analog I/O (0–10V or 4–20mA) and DIN-rail mounting options simplify deployment in diverse environments.

With proven Data-Linc reliability, the CIX007 delivers cost-effective scalability and ensures smooth integration into both existing and new control systems
