New Product Launch
Expand your I/O without adding PLC Hardware.
Cost-effective wired I/O expansion for distributed industrial control systems — designed to reduce wiring complexity and installation costs.
Modbus RTU
Din-rail ready
RS232 & RS485
32 I/O channels
Expand your I/O capacity with confidence
A compact, DIN-rail mountable I/O expansion module designed to seamlessly connect sensors, actuators, and control signals into existing SCADA and industrial automation networks — without the need to add additional PLC hardware. The module delivers scalable I/O expansion at a fraction of the cost of deploying additioal wireless modems. Operate it standalone or pair it wil the CIX700 Protocol Converter (soon to be launced) – up to 7 units for 240 total I/O points)
32 configurable I/Os
8 DI · 8 DO · 8 AI · 8 AO.
Supports 0–10V and 4–20mA analog signals.
Modbus RTU Protocol
RS232 & RS485 interfaces. Integrates with PLCs, RTUs, and SCADA from major vendors.
Din-rail mounting
Din-rail or bracket option, Installs directly into existing control panels.
Scalable to 240 I/Os
With the launch of CIX700 in the near future, the CIX007 can be standalone or paired with CIX700 – upto 7 units for large-scale applications.
Why this matters?
Industrial sites are expanding faster than control system budgets. Pump stations, tank farms, substations, and remote automation nodes increasingly demand more signal integration points — but deploying additional PLCs to handle that growth is expensive, time-consuming, and overkill for most applications.
The CIX007 fills that gap. It connects directly to your existing Modbus RTU network, slots into a DIN-rail panel, and gives your system 32 additional I/O points — expandable to 240 — without touching your PLC architecture. For system integrators, that means faster deployments. For utilities and operators, it means lower lifecycle costs and simpler maintenance.
Data-Linc Group introduces CIX007 Wired I/O Extender for scalable industrial automation and SCADA connectivity.
Your remote pump station has 12 field signals to monitor. Your PLC is out of I/O slots. Adding another PLC means another $8000 – $15000 in hardware, licensing, and installation time – for a site that needs just more connections.
Data-Linc Group announces the release of the CIX007 Wired I/O Extender — a compact Din-rail mounted module that expands your I/O capacity at a fraction of the cost without adding PLC hardware.
With 32 configurable analog and digital channels, the CIX007 enables seamless connectivity between field devices, sensors, and controllers. Supporting Modbus RTU over RS232/RS485, it integrates easily with PLCs, RTUs, and SCADA systems from major vendors. The device can operate standalone or alongside the CIX700 Protocol Converter — scaling up to 240 I/O points across seven units.
"The CIX007 expands our ability to deliver flexible and cost-effective industrial connectivity solutions. It allows customers to easily integrate and scale their systems while maintaining the reliability Data-Linc is known for."
— Jorge Gomez-Casais, Principal Engineer, Data-Linc Group
The CIX007 is ideal for water/wastewater, oil & gas, utilities, mining, food & beverage, and agriculture applications — where reliable monitoring and control of pumps, valves, motors, alarms, and sensors is critical.
